The wind farm Kosava will be implemented in two phases and is supposed to have an installed capacity of 123 MW by 2013. The annual electricity generation is expected to be more than 400,000 MWh, which will be fed into the Serbian grid, thus replacing electricity from coal power plants. This will result in emission reductions of more than 450,000 tons of CO2.
Together with the wind projects Cibuk 1 and Plandiste it was the first CDM project approved by the Serbian DNA.
