Exploring new levels of Climate Finance opportunities

Together with the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (OGUT) Energy Changes is building up a crowdfunding platform for financing climate change mitigation projects with a geographical focus on Least Developed Countries (LDCs). The pioneer project will define the legal and organizational structure of the platform and create a pipeline of projects to be financed by the platform. The project is supported by the Austrian Ministry for the Environment, Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management.

Energy Changes supporting the EIB with expert consultancy services in Slovakia

Energy Changes staff shall act as national energy experts for Slovakia in an extensive energy efficiency programme of the European Investment Bank (EIB). The consortium led by German company GFA Envest GmbH shall provide the EIB with expert consultancy services in support of EU Programmes on energy efficiency in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. The programme is envisaged to run for 4 years.

Energy Changes has achieved successful registration of  Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) Destruction Project  at The Climate Action Reserve (CAR), US-based voluntary carbon emission reductions scheme.

Project with ID “CAR826”  is the first registered project destroying the ODS sourced from end-of-life appliances from so called Article 5 Country.
