The owner is the Dubai Aluminium Company Ltd (Dubal). It commenced operation in 1979. Currently the plant has capacity of more than 950,000 MT of aluminium per year. The plant is located in Dubai, part Jebel Ali, in the United Arab Emirates.The desalination plant (DESAL) is part of DUBAL´s industrial aluminium production plant.

The wind farm Kosava will be implemented in two phases and is supposed to have an installed capacity of 123 MW by 2013. The annual electricity generation is expected to be more than 400,000 MWh, which will be fed into the Serbian grid, thus replacing electricity from coal power plants.This will result in emission reductions of more than 450,000 tons of CO2.

Together with the wind projects Cibuk 1 and Plandiste it was the first CDM project approved by the Serbian DNA.

With an installed capacity of 171 MW the wind farm Cibuk 1 is one of the largest planned wind power facilities in Serbia. The 57 turbines are supposed to annually produce up to 450,000MWh of emission free electricity from 2013 on. This will replace coal based electricity in the Serbian electricity grid, thus reducing up to 500,000 tons of CO2 per year.

Together with the wind projects Plandiste and Kosava I+II it was the first CDM project approved by the Serbian DNA.
